hero Acquires UK Wellbeing Coach

We are delighted to announce its second acquisition in less than three months. Today, hero acquired UKWellbeing Coach Limited, one of the leading employee health, fitness and wellbeing companies in the UK.
Established in 2012, UKWellbeing Coach delivers a range of high quality services to businesses across the UK from health checks, health and wellbeing seminars and training programmes, bootcamps as well as screenings and other health tests. hero acquired the business after forming a working partnership with the company earlier this year and believes its complementary services and the shared vision of simplifying the complexity of living a healthier and happier lifestyle and applying a proactive approach to physical, mental and social health, which will further enhance and strengthen hero’s position within the corporate health and wellbeing market.
UKWellbeing Coach will become an integral part of the hero group, which also includes Colour-Fit, the professional sports nutrition company which was acquired by hero in September.
Founder and CEO of hero Joe Gaunt commented on this acquisition: “It’s been a whirlwind eight months since we launched the business and to achieve our second acquisition is quite an achievement and testament to the hardwork and commitment of the hero team. Former MD of UKWellbeing Coach, Andy Romero-Birkbeck will assume the role of Education and Delivery Director. He said of this deal: “I am thrilled to be part of the hero group and excited to be playing an active role in creating what is set to be an awesome legacy. We will remain focused on doing what we do best, which is delivering support, training and mentoring for managers and senior leaders working in large and small organisations.”
